JANAKPUR, Sept 16: A man has been arrested on the charge of murdering his own mother in Dhanusha. The arrested one is Manoj Mandal, 21, from Sabaila Municipality-5, Makhana. Mandal was arrested by the Area Police Office, Sabaila.
According to Raj Kumar Singh, Police Inspector at the Area Police office, sabaila, Mandal was arrested from his house Friday Morning. Police said that he killed his mother Sikiliya Devi,36, after a small family dispute.
Youth held for ‘murdering’ his mother
Locals informed the police about the incident. Mandal killed his mother after consuming drugs.
“He slit his mother’s throat,” said Police Inspector Singh, “But the real reason will be revealed only after a post-mortem”
The deceased was living with her husband and her son Manoj. Her elder daughter is married and another son is abroad for his studies.
The dead body has been sent to Janakpur Provincial Hospital for a post-mortem, police said.
