Man killed in tiger attack in Parsa

BIRGUNJ, Dec 26: A man has died after coming under attack by a wild tiger in Parsa district on Monday.

Manoj Urab Dhagad, 32, of Tharkati of Paterwa Sugauli Rural Municipality-2 in the district was mauled by the wild cat when he went to the nearby jungle to respond to nature’s call, according to Area Police Office, Paterwa Sugauli.

Police Inspector Ramraj Kesari shared that Dhagad went missing all of a sudden and was found dead after a search operation. The torso of Dhagad has been retrieved from the jungle. The dead body was found without legs," said Police Inspector Kesari.

The dead body of Dhagad has been sent to Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for a post-mortem, police said.
