MADHYABINDU (Nawalparasi), Feb 25: A tiger was found dead and buried in the ground in Madhyabindu Municipality of Nawalparasi.
Durgadatta Kandel, Forest Officer of Chormara Range Post said that a male tiger was found dead in Navadurga Community Forest located in Madhyabindu Municipality-15.
"A male Royal Bengal tiger was found buried 500 meters south of the East-West Highway", he said. "Locals alerted the police after finding the tiger buried."
Earlier, on February 16, a male tiger was found dead in Madhyabindu Municipality-10 Arunkhola forest area. Eight days later, another tiger was found dead in the same forest area.
