JHAPA, July 3: A man has died after being attacked by a wild elephant in Phaktalung, Birtamod Municipality-7.

According to Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, chief of the District Police Office, Jhapa, 59-year-old Lok Prasad Limbu was attacked while stepping out into his yard early this morning (Thursday) to use the toilet.
He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot, police said.
