BAGLUNG, Sept 29: The death toll from rain-induced disasters in Baglung has reached 12, with one person still missing, police said.

According to the District Police Office, two people died after a landslide buried their house at Sipa in Tarakhola Rural Municipality-5. They have been identified as Dil Bahadur Pun, 55, and his mother-in-law, Narmaya Roka, 79, according to Superintendent of Police Phanindra Prasai.
Pun’s wife, two sons and daughter-in-law were injured in the incident, Prasai said.
One person died in a rain-induced disaster in Tarakhola on Saturday. Four others died and one remains missing in Tamankhola Rural Municipality, while five people were killed in Nisikhola Rural Municipality.
