DAMAULI, July 27: A person allegedly murdered his wife by hitting her with a hammer here on Wednesday.

Kumar Rai, 29, from Madhumalla-3 in Morang and currently living at Malebagar of Shuklagandaki Municipality-7 attacked his spouse Buddhimaya Rai, 25, in a fit of rage.
She died on the spot, according to the police. The Area Police Office, Belchautara took the accused under control shortly after the incident and further investigations into it were underway. The dead body has been kept at the Damauli Hospital for a post-mortem. RSS
