MAHOTTARI, AUG 18: In Sonukhada village, Mahottari Municipality-1, a man has killed his wife by assaulting her. According to Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokhrel from the District Police Office, 45-year-old Habib Naddafer assaulted his 36-year-old wife, Roshan Khatoon, leading to her death.
The assault occurred on Saturday during a domestic dispute between the couple. Preliminary police findings suggest that Roshan died due to the lack of timely medical treatment.

Roshan's body has been sent to the Provincial Hospital in Jaleshwar for an autopsy. The police have reported that they are searching for her husband, who has fled the scene following the incident.
