Man electrocuted while irrigating field in Rautahat

He died during treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Kalaiya, Bara.

CHANDRAPUR, July 3: A man died of electrocution while irrigating his field in Rautahat on Wednesday morning.



According to police, Rohit Sah Sonar, 30, of Fatuwa Bijaypur-2, Sitalpur was critically injured after falling prey to electric shock while using a water pump in his field. He died during treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Kalaiya, Bara.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar Raya of the District Police Office confirmed the incident, adding that the body has been kept at the hospital for post-mortem.
