Man arrested with illegal drugs

SIRAHA, Nov 12: A police patrol team on Wednesday arrested Suraj Mahato, 35, a resident of Bariyarpatti of Siraha, with 99 bottles of Corex and 12 bottles of Torex. These are cough syrups also used by drug addicts.



According to inspector Homnath Panthi, who led the team, Mahato was sneaking into Nepal through Siraha border from India, with the illegal drugs. Police said he would be booked under the narcotic drugs control act.
