Malla wins two golds in Malaysia

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Veteran Nepali athlete Indra Malla clinched two gold medals in the 27th Malaysian International Masters Athletics Championship held in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. [break]



According to GN Sharma, the president of Nepal Amateur Veterans Athlete Committee, Malla claimed gold medals in the javelin throw and 3,000m walking event of women´s above-45 age group. Likewise, another Nepali athlete Bishnu Malla claimed bronze medal in the 800m race of women´s above-35 age group.
