KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal’s bowlers delivered an impressive performance in the first semifinal of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-16 East Zone Cup, bowling out Malaysia for just 90 runs.
Pacer Abhay Yadav led the attack with a stellar spell, taking 4 wickets for just 15 runs in his 10 overs. Subham Khanal supported well, claiming 3 wickets while conceding only 12 runs, including 4 maiden overs. Captain Bipin Prasad Sharma and Sachin Bhatt chipped in with a wicket each.
Disruption can be good for change: Abhay Deol on streaming boom

Nepal had won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia were bundled out in 43.1 overs.
For Malaysia, Muhammad Fatul Muin was the top scorer with 38 runs, while captain Diaz Patro managed 10. No other player could reach double digits.
Nepal now needs just 91 runs to book a spot in the final.
