Maiost Center candidate Rawat elected provincial assembly member from Kalikot A

Kalikot, Nov 25: Durga Bahadur Rawat, the common candidate of the ruling alliance from CPN (Maoist Center), has been elected as provincial assembly member from Kalikot A.  Rawat won with a margin of 1,060 votes as compared to the votes received by his nearest rival Kurma Raj Shahi of CPN-UML.

Kalikot, Nov 25: Durga Bahadur Rawat, the common candidate of the ruling alliance from CPN (Maoist Center), has been elected as provincial assembly member from Kalikot A.  Rawat won with a margin of 1,060 votes as compared to the votes received by his nearest rival Kurma Raj Shahi of CPN-UML.

Durga Bahadur Rawat won by securing 9,012 votes as his nearest rival Shahi received 7,952 votes. Similarly, Surya Bahadur Shahi of RPP got 1,071 votes, Rabindra Bahadur Shahi of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) got 1,172 votes.
