JANAKPURDHAM, Aug 13: The Madhesh Province government has forwarded its decision to the province chief to remove eight ministers of state from the province government.


The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers said that Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has sent the decision to the province chief to remove all the eight ministers of state.

According to the office, a letter was sent to the province chief on Tuesday morning requesting the dismissal of the eight ministers of state who were recently appointed.


According to the consent of the ruling parties at the Center, Chief Minister Singh has taken the decision to remove all eight ministers of state.


The provincial government has appointed Rekha Thakur, Neelam Kumari Rajak, Ram Babu Yadav, Shambhu Shah and Mohammad Jaid Alam as provincial ministers on Tuesday. Before that, Keshav Raya, Sharda Devi Thapa and Ranju Kumari Mandal Tong were appointed as ministers of state.


The Province Chief’s Office confirmed that it has received a letter from the Chief Minister's Office to remove all the eight ministers of state.


With these dismissals, the Madhesh Province cabinet will now consist of 12 ministers, including the Chief Minister.
