JANAKPUR, July 4: The Madhesh Province assembly is starting deliberations on the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 from today. The provincial legislature is meeting at 1PM today for this purpose, said Ranjit Kumar Yadav, secretary at the Province Assembly Secretariat.

The Madhesh province government had presented a budget of over Rs 46.88 billion in the Province assembly on June 15. The provincial government's Finance Minister Shailendra Prasad Saha had presented the budget.
