JANAKPUR, March 20: The Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Law of Madhesh Province has decided to slash the expenses that have been allocated for the Minister and Secretary in the name of informant expenses.
On Tuesday, Physical Infrastructure Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, who also held the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications and Law, decided to slash the expenditure. He was sworn in as the Minister of Physical Infrastructure on Monday and was also given the responsibility of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health and Population on Tuesday.
A Disappointing Picture of Capital Expenditure
Taking charge of the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday, the minister made the first decision to reduce the expenses of informants.
Since the establishment of the Madhesh government, the ministers, state ministers and secretaries of the former internal affairs and the current home, communications and law ministries have been taking money arbitrarily in the name of informant expenses. To date, these disbursements have totaled Rs 14.29 million.
