KATHMANDU, Dec 19: Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has been elected as the leader of the parliamentary party of CPN (Unified Socialists).
The meeting of the parliamentary party held today has unanimously elected Nepal as the leader of the parliamentary party.

Similarly, Vice President Rajendra Pandey has been elected as the deputy leader of the parliamentary party. Deputy General Secretary Prakash Jwala has been selected as the party's whip.
10 MPs have won on the direct side of CPN (Unified Socialist). On the proportional side, there are no MPs in the proportional because the threshold cannot be cut.
