DOLPA, September 3: CPN-UML central member Bishnu Rijal has reached Dolpa today to stop the party members from supporting Madhav Kumar Nepal’s newly-formed party - the CPN (Unified Socialist). Earlier, Nepal had formed the new party after splitting from CPN-UML citing his disagreement with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
The CPN-UML has also scheduled a lead cadres meeting at the district’s headquarter in Dunai on September 6. Speaking with media persons, Rijal said that Madhav Kumar Nepal, who helped to form the party, became its chairperson for 15 years and was appointed the country’s prime minister had done a wrong thing by splitting the party due to personal conflicts.

He also accused Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Agni Sapkota of abusing his position. Furthermore, Rijal expressed his trust in getting justice from the court, adding that Sapkota and the Election Commission had done injustice to the CPN-UML.
Furthermore, Rijal said that CPN-UML will not be affected in any way just because a few people shifted their support, citing that former Minister of State and Minister of Tourism Dhan Bahadur Budha had shifted his support toward Nepal’s newly formed CPN (Unified Socialist) party. Earlier, Dhan Bahadur Budha and central member of CPN (Unified Socialist) Hansa Bahadur Shahi had appealed to party members and people’s representatives of Dolpa to support Nepal’s CPN (Unified Socialist) by releasing a press release on August 31.
