KATHMANDU, August 29: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) has been elected the parliamentary party (PP) leader of the newly-formed party.
A PP meeting held earlier on Sunday elected Nepal to the post of parliamentary party leader unanimously.

With Nepal's election to the PP leader, the party is expected to get its chief whip, whip and other leaders.
Earlier last week, Madhav Kumar Nepal registered a new political party named CPN (Unified Socialist), after parting ways with the CPN-UML.
