Madan Krishna, also the champion of the first edition, bagged a motorcycle worth Rs 172,000 as the first prize, while Badri Lal was awarded a laptop worth Rs 50,000.
Madan Krishna, who won first round and played draw in the second round, defeated Badri Lal 1.5-0.5 in the final.
Meanwhile, Bhupendra Niraula won the title of the league format of the same tournament. Bhupendra, who played draw against Krishna Thapa in the last round, collected 7.5 points.
Nabin Tandukar finished second and Krishna became third after failing in the progressive point tie-breaker despite having 7.5 points each in the league. Nabin received Rs 15,000 and Krishna got Rs 10,000.
Punyaman Karmacharya finished fourth with seven points after playing draw with Himal Lama.
Rupesh Jaiswal, Himal Lama, Rabindra Shakya, Rijendra Raj Bhandari, Keshab Shrestha, Sanjib Maharjan came fifth to 10th respectively with 6.5 points.
Winners will be awarded on Friday.
