‘Yogmaya’ wins Madan Puraskar and Shanta Das Manandhar bags Jagadamba-Shree

KATHMANDU, Aug 28: The General assembly of Madan Puraskar Guthi, organized on Monday, has decided to award Shanta Das Manandhar with the Jagadamba-Shree for his contributions in promoting, developing, and assisting children literature from the past five years. Similarly, Nilam Karki Niharika’s ‘Yogmaya’ will be felicitated with Madan Puraskar 2074.

According to the press statement issued by Madan Puraskar Guthi on Monday, a total of 256 books competed for the prestigious honor, and eight books including ‘Kauran’, ‘Nathiya’, ‘Pathsaala’, ‘Bhuya’, ‘Yaar’, ‘Yogmaya’, ‘Limbuni Gaun’, and ‘Himali Darsan’ were selected for Madan Puraskar.
