The locals have demanded that the bridge be repaired again saying that the cases of accidents in the bridge were increasing after the vehicles skidded in the steel plates that were put last year while repairing the bridge. [break]
Hundreds of vehicles and passengers have been stranded on the road, Mugling Police Office said. Last year, iron plates were replaced by the steel ones while repairing the bridge.
The folks have warned of phase-wise agitation if their demands were unheard by the authorities concerned.
