The district traffic police office Chitwan said that after the protestors created a barrier in Pulchowk, non-essential vehicles are obstructed from operating.

Vehicles coming from Mugling have been allowed to reach Jugedi. However, it is not easy as some of the protestors are also seen in Muglin.

Poultry businessman Shankar Kandel, who is also the outgoing treasurer of Nepali Congress Chitwan, had mentioned in his suicide note that he committed suicide due to Pradeep Rugata, who owns 85 percent shares of Feeds, and Jeevan Rawal, the Chartered Accountant of the company. Kandel committed suicide by hanging himself in his own office of Anmol Feeds on Tuesday evening.

His family has filed a complaint against both of them on charge of abetting suicide. An arrest warrant has also been issued against them.

Jeevan Rawal has already been arrested from Simra on Thursday night, while Pradeep is still absconding. Businessmen have demanded that Pradeep be arrested as he is the main person in the suicide case.

Meanwhile, Nepali Congress Chitwan has announced that the East-West Highway will be closed for one hour at Chaubiskothi in Bharatpur from 1 pm to 2 pm today.

He said that the district president Rajeshwar Khanal is exerting pressure on the government as there was a delay in the arrest of Pradeep, who was involved in Kandel's suicide case.
