Local administration to limit number of service seekers

KATHMANDU, Sep 17: Aiming at reducing the number of service seekers, the Kathmandu District Administration Office starting Sunday has decided to provide service to the residents of only the municipalities in the district until next notice.

KATHMANDU, Sep 17: Aiming at reducing the number of service seekers, the Kathmandu District Administration Office starting Sunday has decided to provide service to the residents of only the municipalities in the district until next notice.



Issuing a notice, the local administration said that residents of Kathmandu Metropolitan City can get the service from the office on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Likewise, on Mondays, the local administration is providing services to residents of Kirtipur, Nagarjun and Chandragiri municipalities. On Wednesdays, residents of Budhanikantha, Tokha, and Kageshwari Manahara municipalities will be served.


Similarly on Fridays, residents of Gokarneshwar, Dakshinkali, Shankharapur, and Tarakeshwar municipalities can get services from the local administration.


The administration has also said that only 20 people will get service a day  under each service heading.


It has also said that all services from the office will be provided by following the health safety protocols set by the Ministry of Health and Population.
