KATHMANDU, March 4: Meteorological Forecasting Division said that there is a possibility of a partial change in the weather across the country as a result of the the influence of westerly winds.

The hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions are experiencing partial to normal weather in the morning, while the rest of the areas are experiencing partial to normal weather.

Today afternoon, the weather will be partly cloudy to partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and the weather will be generally clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain with thundershowers at few places in the hilly areas of the country. Also, there is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.

According to the MFD, the weather will be partly cloudy to normal in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces tonight, while the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
