Lawmaker along with seven other injured

GULMI, May 25: Seven passengers along with CA member and YCL incharge of the capital Chandra Bahadur Thapa ´Sagar´ were injured in a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 1298) accident at Amarpur VDC of Gulmi on Monday night.



Thapa´s wife Kalpana Thapa and son Himal were among the injured in the accident. The jeep was heading to Akarwa VDC from district headquarters Tamghas. [break]



According to RSS, Kalpana Thapa, Hari Maya Bishwakarma and driver Uttam Panthi are receiving treatment in District Hospital, Gulmi while others have returned home.



Police said that ´brake failure´ was the cause of the accident.
