KASKI, July 6: Two families were displaced by a landslide triggered by incessant rain at Madi of Kaski while four houses are at a constant risk of the disaster.
Five houses in Madi ward no 6 and one house in ward no 1 experienced the consequences of monsoon landslides. The families of Kamalapati Baral and Deepak Baral are taking refuge at a relative's home and a social organization, according to local representative Dil Bahadur Chhetri.

He said the local government has been recommended for taking measures for the alternative management of the affected families.
Rural municipality chair Devi Jung Gurung promised to ensure relief to the displaced families.
Other wards in Madi are suffering the consequences of a flood that specially damaged rural roads in the village.
