PARBAT, Sept 17: A total of seven settlements in Phalewas Municipality in the district are at high risk of landslides. The local authorities have recommended shifting the settlements to safer zones after geographical assessment.

SANKHUWASABHA, July 23: As many as 104 households have been displaced after a landslide at Silichong Rural Municipality-1 of Sankhuwasabha. Chief District Officer Jivan Prasad Acharya said that 104 families from different villages including Chepchewa were at a high risk of landslides in the district.
