"They insisted on the Baburam Bhattarai-led consensus government," NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel said, adding, "We however disagreed on the idea and exited from the meeting."
According to Paudel, the Maoist chair had sought an agreement on Bhattarai-led consensus government and an approval on full-fledged budget.
"Both fresh polls and full budget by this government will be unacceptable to us unless a consensus government is formed," Paudel reiterated.
