In the letter, Koirala said that the people of India had voted expressly in favor of democracy, peace, stability and also for the continuity of Singh´s leadership, in order to further uplift India.
Koirala said that the NC was optimistic that Singh´s leadership would wholeheartedly push ahead the agenda of peace, stability and enhanced economic cooperation among the SAARC nations.
Stressing the age-old ties between the two countries, Koirala hoped that the relationship between the two countries would grow and deepen further during Singh´s tenure as the prime minister of India.
