KATHMANDU, Sept 29: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balendra Shah has said that the metropolis will continue its programs according to its policies.
Shah issued a press statement on Thursday and said that the metropolis will continue its programs according to its policies.
Similarly, he has also said that KMC’s attention has been drawn to the news reports published/broadcast by linking footpath business with the context of Dashain.
“Pedestrians have the first right on the roads. The metropolis has formulated its policies and programs to establish this right. It is our commitment to improve the lives of citizens by implementing the rights granted by law for the development, improvement and prosperity of the city,” reads the statement, adding: “In the same way, we are conducting programs for the implementation of issues such as urban cleanliness and maintaining urban beauty.”
