Despite the protests by the Marwadi Sewa Samiti, the KMC officials forcibly placed the Kathmandu Metropolitan City board. Outside the Dharamshala, Marwadi Sewa Samiti members held a march in protest.
The KMC sent a team led by Ward Chairperson Ashman Sangat and Chief of the Municipal Police Rajunath Pandey to vacate the Gaushala Dharamshala in the Pashupati area. The metropolitan police used a microphone to urge the occupants to leave the Dharamshala by 10 AM, and when they did not comply, the municipal police forcibly cleared the premises.
Speaking at a press conference earlier, Ramesh Tadinya, President of the Marwadi Sewa Samiti Nepal, cautioned that the metropolitan city should not engage in any activities at the Dharamshala. He stated that the full text of the court case has not yet been received and, since the court is currently on break, they should be granted the right to present evidence once the full text is available.
After the municipal police personnel attempted to vacate the Dharamshala, there was a brief protest from the Marwadi Sewa Samiti on Wednesday.
