KATHMANDU, June 28: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has launched a 24-hour hotline telephone service to address concerns of the Kathmandu dwellers about cholera.
The KMC has stated that it has launched a 24-hour hotline from Monday to make it easier for the citizens to help address the problem by evaluating the public health risks.
KMC urges citizens to call 1180 for suspected dengue cases
Residents in Kathmandu can dial 1180 to get information and services in case of any problem relating to the communicable disease.
Meanwhile, Mayor Balendra Shah has appealed to all to drink only boiled water and take care of food hygiene.
The metropolis has also decided to collaborate with the Nepal Police to prevent the sale of food in the streets.
