The junior group started with a painting workshop, while the senior group started with an orientation for the tie-dye workshop. Apart from the main event, the participants were also involved in other smaller sessions that included making shapes and structures out of blocks and straws. The sessions were conducted by Eva Gyawali, Irina Sthapit and Aakriti Thapa in coordination with other KIC members.

Each participant was given a pair of gloves, an apron and a t-shirt to experiment on. For the tie-dye session, they tied the t-shirts with rubber bands in several places and put liquid dye on it to make patterns. They were given red, yellow and blue colors to experiment, and come up with new colors or patterns for their t-shirts as they saw fit. The colors take about eight hours to dry.

After they were done, the participants took back the t-shirts they had worked on with further instructions on drying and washing the cloth.
