‘Experimental Water Color Painting Workshop’ in Pokhara

A workshop titled ‘Experimental Water Color Painting Workshop’ was held on Saturday at Pokhara. The workshop was conducted by the Department of Painting, Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in association with Gandaki Academy, Gandaki province.

According to a press statement released by NAFA, a total of 40 artists participated in the workshop. It was inaugurated by Chancellor of NAFA, KK Karmacharya which was chaired by HoD of Department of Painting, Sushma Rajbhandari.


In the inauguration ceremony, Vice-Chancellor of Gandaki Academy Suryachandra Birkhachi, Head of Nepal Pragya-Pratishthan Crafts Department Buddhi Gurung, Vice-Chancellor of Gandaki Pradesh Gore Bahadur Gurung, Member Secretary of Gandaki Pradesh Kumar Shrestha, Academician Ramesh Shrestha, distinguished personalities: Yadav Chandra Bhurtel and Chhetra Lal Kayastha, NB Gurung, President of -IWS International Water Color Society, Dal Bahadur Gurung, Vice President of Creative Artists Group, Moti Bhujel, President of Pokhreli Yuva Cultural Family, Harekalajakar, Senior Artist And others were also present.
