KATHMANDU, Dec 14 : The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley dropped further today, marking a new low for the year.
At 5:45 AM on Saturday, the temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 2.5 degrees Celsius. By 8:45 AM, it had dipped to 2 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

According to the MFD, Jumla recorded the lowest temperature of the day at minus 7.2 degrees Celsius, while Biratnagar experienced the highest minimum temperature at 9 degrees Celsius.
