The Valley’s COVID-19 death toll hits 137 and case tally crosses the 23,000 mark


KATHMANDU, Sept 29: The Kathmandu Valley reported 934 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the Valley’s COVID-19 case tally to 23,058.

Likewise, the Valley also reported three new cases of fatality related to COVID-19 on Tuesday. All three of the death cases were recorded in Kathmandu district. With this, the Valley’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 137.  


According to the latest data compiled by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), as many as 747 new cases in Kathmandu, 73 in Bhaktapur and 114 in Lalitpur were detected in the past 24 hours.


Of the new COVID-19 cases in the Valley reported on Tuesday, 382 are females and 552 are males. 


The Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 61.73 percent of total cases detected across the country on Tuesday.
