MAHOTTARI, Aug 17: Mahottari District Court on Friday sent Pawan Kapad, 45, of Jaleshwor Municipality-17 to jail for further investigation on the charge of APF ASI Thaman BK's murder during the “Madhesh movement” on Friday.
State Minister of Province 2, Abhiram Sharma, Mayor of Jaleshwor Municipality, Ram Shankar Mishra and General secretary of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN), Suresh Pandey were released who were involved in the incident were released on general date after recording their statement on Monday and Thursday respectively by the the district court.
Rape-accused Tolangi sent to jail for investigation
Kapad presented himself infront of court demanding state minister Sharma, Mayor Mishra and RJPN General secretary Pandey for their attendence and statement in court after two days of their release.
Hearing the case chief judge of District Court Brajesh Pyakurel issued an order to send Kapa to jail for further investigation arguing that he was directly involved in the incedent, said record-keeper at the court Ramnanda Adhikari.
On August 3, Janakpur High Court had ordered the police to arrest Province 2 State Minister Abhiram Sharma, Mayor of Jaleshwor Municipality Ram Shankar Mishra, General Secretary of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJPN), Suresh Pandey and Pawan Kapad on the murder charge of ASI Thaman BK.
