The members of the armed outfit shot at Arjun Khadka, 45, of Sihurawa VDC-5, at his residence alleging him of harvesting crops from the land seized by the group.
Khadka received serious bullet injuries and died at about 11 pm while undergoing treatment at the Narayani Zonal Hospital, Birgunj.
The JTMM´s Bara-Parsa military commander Agni owned up the murder.
Late Khadka was looking after the properties of former Chief of Army Staff Garud Shumsher Rana.
The armed outfit had announced the seizure of Rana´s properties three months ago.
