Bara Police arrest two with Rs 3.5 million hundi money

BARA, Nov 20: The District Police Office, Bara, has arrested two persons with Rs 3.5 million hundi money. A team of police arrested Sunil Mahato and Rajan Dube, following information that they were coming to Pacharauta Municipality-8 with Hawala (Hundi) money, said Superintendent of Police Bikash Raj Khanal of Bara Police.

BARA, Nov 20: The District Police Office, Bara, has arrested two persons with Rs 3.5 million hundi money. A team of police arrested Sunil Mahato and Rajan Dube, following information that they were coming to Pacharauta Municipality-8 with Hawala (Hundi) money, said Superintendent of Police Bikash Raj Khanal of Bara Police. The police arrested them along with a motorcycle (Na 26 Pa 16498).

Both the arrestees are residents of Simraungadh Municipality-9. The police confiscated 1,200 units of Rs 1,000, and 4,700 units of Rs 500 notes. Khanal further added that police will file a case against the arrestees as per the Banking and Financial Institution Act, 2017, after further investigation into the case.
