Forty six year-old Chhetri had complained about major chest pain on Monday and was admitted to the Gauhati Neurological Research Centre (GNRC).where he breathed his last.
The Gorkha journalists fraternity of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Manipur expressed their deep shock at the untimely demise of a talented journalist like Chhetri and prayed to God for his eternal peace.
The Gorkha journalists of Northeast India felt that late Chhetri in his tender age could influence the heart of people by his creative writings which must be treated as an encouragement to the budding talents in the field of journalism.
