KATHMANDU, Aug 28: An anthology of poems titled Charako Geet, (Bird's Song) by Krishu Chhetri has been released. Litterateur Chhetri is the current Nepali consul to the United States of America.

Nepali Ambassador to the US, Dr Arjun Kumar Karki, unveiled the new creation by Chhetri, amidst a ceremony at the New York-based Jackson Heights on Saturday.
Chhetri has already many creations to his name and won various literary awards and honour. He is the winner of the Yuwa Barsha Moti Puraskar (2066 BS), Rastriya Pratibha (National Talent) Puraskar (2058 BS), Gazalshree Samman (2060 BS), National Poetry Festival 2057 BS (gold medal), Rastriya Yuwa (National Youth) Talent Award (2072 BS) and Devkota Shatabdi gold medal, among others.
