KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Senior leader of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Jhalanath Khanal attended the ongoing unification assembly of communist factions, including the CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (Maoist Centre).
Although Khanal had earlier expressed dissatisfaction over the Unified Socialist’s decision to pursue party unification through a majority vote, he appeared enthusiastic at Wednesday’s assembly.

Khanal met UML Chair KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday and held talks with Maoist Centre Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal earlier this morning before attending the unification announcement event.
