KATHMANDU, Jan 10: The Judicial Council (JC) is preparing to appoint 80 Judges at High Courts on Tuesday.
A meeting of the JC is likely to make a final call on the names of the Judges today.
“We discussed the names on Friday, but failed to reach a conclusion, “said a source, “There are high changes of finalizing the names today.”
JC had started the selection process from the first week of November calling for applications. Some 800 aspirants had submitted their curriculum vitae for the post.
Chief Justice Sushila Karki, senior Justice Baidhyanath Upadhyay, Minister for Law Ajay Shankar Nayak, Advocates Ram Prasad Sitaula and Padam Prasad Baidhik are the members of the Council.
