Ruling party lawmakers question overcredibility of sub-committee report

Lawmakers from the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Friday questioned over the credibility of the report produced by the sub-committee of the Parliament's Public Accounts Committee which had concluded that over 4.35 billion was embezzled in the purchase of wide-body aircraft for the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).

CIB raids Ram Bahadur Bomjom's Aashram at Sindhupalchowk

The Central Investigation Bureau raided the Aashram of Ram Bahadur Bomjom, self-proclaimed Little Buddha, at Bade Gaun today. The CIB was accompanied by a team led by DSP Bimal Raj Kandel from Sindhupalchowk, according to SP Mukunda Marasaini, chief of Sindhupalchowk district police office.
