On the occasion, Minister Gupta who is also the national president of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (Republican) thanked the organizations for honoring him.[break]
Addressing the felicitation function, he said the youth should play a leading role in the national politics.
“From now on the youths of the Madhes will lead the national politics,” he said, adding that the political struggle of the Madhes will go on for a long time until all the vestiges of the unitary state system are rooted out.
Minister Gupta alleged that the three major parties of the country have been accusing the Madhes-based parties of being anti-national which is the remnant of the unitary state system of the past.
He also announced a donation of Rs. 100,000 on behalf his family for the construction of a building of the Rauniyar Athiti Sewa Sadan.
Leader of the Civil Society, Sarlahi, Umesh Chandra Jha said Minister Gupta has been felicitated for fighting honestly and consistently for the equal rights of the Madhesi people while having unflinching faith in national integrity.
