KATHMANDU, March: Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Bablu Gupta has won a landslide victory in Siraha-1.
Gupta defeated Nepali Congress candidate Ramsundar Chaudhary by a margin of 31,538 votes. Gupta secured 41,322 votes, while Chaudhary received 9,784 votes.

Before contesting the election, he had served as Minister for Youth and Sports in the interim government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
