Indo-Nepal shotokan begins Friday

KATHMANDU, July 10: Nepal Shotokan Karate Association (NSKA) is organizing the Fifth Indo-Nepal Shotokan Championship on Friday and Saturday in the capital. Organizing a press meet in the capital on Wednesday, NSKA President Hem Kumar Shrestha said the tournament will feature a total of 400 players, including 150 from various states of India, and will be held at the semi-covered hall of the Dasharath Stadium.



 According to assistant chief coach Prabhat Sangraula, Nepali players were selected for the championship from 26 districts affiliated with the association. The championship will feature competitions in four different age categories and weight categories ranging from 20 kg to above 70kg.[break]
