KAVREPALANCHOWK, June 18: The sixth Indo-Nepal Friendship Shotokan Karate Championship is going to be organized at Dhulikhel of Kavrepalanchowk from June 21.
Nepal Shotokan Karate Association is organizing the two-day championship at the covered hall of Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel, where 600 athletes of Nepal and India would compete.
At a news conference organized at Banepa on Monday, it was shared that 250 athletes from 25 provinces of India and 350 from 49 districts of Nepal are competing in the championship.
Chief Coach of the Association, Hem Kumar Shrestha, said that the championship is organized with an objective of preparing for big sporting events like Asian Games and Olympic as well as establishing brotherly relations between the two countries through sports.
