CIB Chief AIG Shyamalal Gyawali stated that the District Government Attorney's Office reached this decision after the amount embezzled by the cooperative's officials was recovered.

In accordance with the decision of the District Government Attorney's Office, the police have released the three individuals who were arrested: Lila Bahadur Gurung, the vice chairman of Hamro Naya Krishi Agriculture Cooperative, treasurer Ram Hari Adhikari, and director Nabin Achhami.

The CIB submitted a report to the District Government Attorney's Office, recommending that the accused be prosecuted, despite the recovery of the funds of the cooperative.

Additionally, CIB recorded statements from cooperative operators Omprakash Gurung and Durga Chapagai, who were apprehended during the investigation into the Supreme Cooperative fraud in Butwal, and brought them to Kathmandu for further inquiry.
