KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwad has stressed the need to have equal access to the means of production in order to achieve inclusive economic development in the country.
Addressing a program entitled "Inclusive development and Prosperous Nepal" organized by National Concern and Coordination Committee under the National Assembly on Tuesday, Minister Khatiwada opined that economic development is not possible without providing equal access to land, capital and technology.

"The new federal structure aims to achieve inclusive economic development. Hence, the government has promoted the concept of financial inclusion," he said.
According to Minister Khatiwada, the local governments should also maintain inclusive and equitable development while allocating budget.
"The government is committed to the equal distribution of goods and services to create an equitable society," he said.
